HoneyBee health benefits

Product context: Honeybee allowance provides employers with a flexible and easy to use management platform for managing limits and categories of taxable benefits provided to their employees. By using an allowance account model rather than defined benefits, Honeybee Allowance provides employees with the freedom to choose taxable benefits and perks that best fit their needs while still remaining within scope of what’s covered by their employer

Role context: The business was looking to refine the user flows for insurance plans and claim submission for both web and mobile. I came in as a Senior Product Designer to brainstorm, gather information, create user flows and support the continuous design needs for the HoneyBee website and mobile app.

My Contributions:

Led the SaaS product design for Honey Bee Mobile app and the website for health insurance, plans, claims submission and reimbursements
aligned stakeholder expectations and user goals, gathered background information, initiated brainstorming sessions with the product managers and co founders
mentored and managed the junior designers - assigned tasks, conducted frequent touch points to ensure we are on track and ran design review sessions to provide feedback
created design concepts—UX flows, wireframes, and visual designs and presented them to the stakeholders and engineering team
